It’s so depressing when a favorite author puts out a book and the narration doesn’t live up to the story.

I found Mine to Hold to be a humorous, flirty, steamy friends to lovers romance that will whet your appetite and leave you satiated at the end. I liked the character development and FINALLY a heroine who wasn't wishy washy about her feelings for our hero. It felt very one dimensional and the writing felt repetitive or overly descriptive but didn't add to the story. The Southern Wedding series stories are just as swoony and romantic as their delicious covers, and I really enjoyed this second outing.Their past is long and twisted, and everything between them feels natural and effortless as they embrace all that they’re feeling, and just go for it.
